The Classic Car Show Vienna, international fair for vintage cars and young-timers celebrates from the 13th – 16th January 2011 at the Messe Wien premiere.
As a world famous city Vienna is known as being the home of numerous car-, engine- and automobile builders (Ferdinand Porsche, Siegfried Marcus, Wolfgang Denzel …). It is also a city of museums and collections, a cultural melting pot, a hub of trade between east and west and is the ideal place for the first edition of the Classic Car Show. The new Messe Wien is easily accessible, offers perfect infrastructure and ideal purist architecture.

The exclusive ‘preview’ and reception for domestic and foreign journalists on the 13th of January starting 3pm, plus the auctions, club presentations, programme shows given by museums and representative associations, the special displays and the private sellers market are the perfect way to round off such an extravagantly charged fair.
The Classic Car Show Vienna has been scheduled to take place every two years, alternating with the well accepted new car show, the Vienna Autoshow, and will run parallel to Austria’s number one tourism and holiday show, the Ferien-Messe Wien.
Automobile tradition and holiday, travel and leisure time activities combine perfectly and only require one, single ticket.
One thing is certain, vintage cars exercise their own special fascination on private fans, those institutionally involved, domestic and foreign collectors, club members, restoration specialists, dealers, journalists, classic car enthusiasts and people interested in becoming enthusiasts, aesthetes, treasurers of tradition, enthusiasts, the fascinated and the curious alike. |
